Pryor Cashman LLP is an independent full-service law firm with over 120 attorneys in its main office at 7 Times Square in New York City. With broad and sophisticated transactional and litigation practices, Pryor Cashman provides a wide range of services to meet the varying legal needs of businesses and individuals.
The firm regularly goes head to head with the larger, general practice mega firms and has added Concep to distribute communications that highlight the firm, individual attorneys and practice areas.
With just two staff members in the marketing department, Elizabeth Wall, the firm’s marketing manager, was under resourced and in need of finding a quick, efficient and cost-effective solution to notify clients of an upcoming office move. In addition the firm wanted to set up electronic distribution of holiday cards and targeted electronic newsletters.
In the firm’s previous experience, paper mailings were expensive, timely and consumed much needed resources. In addition, the amount of paper used was an environmental concern for Pryor Cashman. In 2008, the marketing team spent well over 400 hours creating and mailing the holiday cards, an effort they did not want to repeat.
Similarly, the firm publishes and mails quarterly newsletters, a lengthy and time consuming process. Elizabeth did not have the resources to take on these activities and wished to outsource to Concep, the leading digital agency for B2B, who could manage the process from inception to completion.
Concep proved to be a valuable resource for Pryor Cashman to streamline the firm’s marketing efforts by going digital through the use of Concep Campaigner. From the creation of a holiday eCard concept to the build and send of the first edition of Pryorities, the firm’s quarterly newsletter, outsourcing all marketing communications to Concep allowed the Pryor Cashman marketing team to focus on other pressing projects and alleviated some pressure during a high-stress time of year.
Upon seeing phenomenal results through Campaigner’s reporting, with email open rates maintained well above the industry average, Elizabeth felt compelled to continue Pryor Cashman’s relationship with Concep, a choice that has allowed the firm to remain top-of-mind to current clients as well as reach out to prospects.
- Through the use of Concep eCards, Pryor Cashman saved approximately 390 hours of the marketing department’s time in eliminating the need to send paper holiday cards.
- In addition to time saved by sending eCards, money that would have been spent on printing, addressing, postage and design of a physical holiday card was donated to charity, which helped Pryor Cashman meet their corporate responsibility pursuits.
