Concep is seeking a highly imaginative and confident Production Manager to join our growing team. We need a talented person capable of providing creative solutions which meet and exceed expectations.
As a candidate you will not only have recognised creative skills, but also excellent technical capabilities gained via extensive agency experience and your work with well known brands. At Concep you'll work with global brands, alongside a diverse group of outgoing people, in a great location. In doing so you’ll gain experience in emerging digital technology and communication strategies - including B2B email campaigns, viral marketing, rich media applications and large-scale web projects. Your background will involve having worked in a digital agency environment and being responsible for briefing creative, design, production and development teams successfully managing project budgets and timelines, managing client expectations, and working on integrated campaigns. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of production operations - directing the efforts of the assigned production staff and coordinate activities to ensure projects are completed accurately, on time and within budget. To be successful in this role you’ll be well presented with excellent communication skills, motivated, hardworking and have a positive “can do” attitude. You’ll have a strong attention to detail and be able to manage staff and suppliers effectively while on projects.
PURPOSE OF ROLE
• Plan, organise and execute new digital media projeccts (and multi-channel) to support the fulfilment of Concep’s client base
• Responsible for scoping projects, communicating with creative and development teams and managing projects from inception through to completion
• Managing a team across design development and campaign management
• Must be able to meet deadlines and produce high quality work quickly
• Good at finding engaging ways to present information, generate ideas that drive traffic and or revenue via a campaign or website
• Provide art direction and establish the look and feel of projects. Create interface concepts, original graphics for use on new media projects and websites. Implements web design parameters, style guides, and visual standards
• Working with others at Concep, this role is pivotal to ensuring that work is managed and delivered on time, on budget and to specification.
SCOPE OF JOB
The scope of this role encompasses:
• Involvement in pre-sales – assist the account managers with concepts, fee quoting and budget setting
• Responsible for each project from client approval, through to project completion. This includes management of internal and external resources
• Submit operations recommendations that will result in improved efficiencies.
• Evaluate and implement modified workflows, technology enhancements and equipment needs
• Work closely with the Client Services team and Technical Director to ensure that the project and business requirements are fulfilled.
• To manage the life-cycle of Concep client’s projects, maintaining stakeholder relationships with the Client Services team and the technical team.
• Contributes to the formulation of digital strategy and the development of websites and digital campaign initiatives for clients
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the production of complex, multi-stream projects ensure all projects are completed on time and within budget in collaboration with Client Services team, creative and technical colleagues and external suppliers.
• Task manage web developer and designers on digital marketing projects
• Review incoming requests to meet milestones within budget
• Maintain a clear vision of the direction of all projects and keep production focused in that direction
• Act as the main point of contact for feedback and project progress and other project related information
• Monitor performance of staff and process and recommend changes to procedures in order to maximize resources
• Continuously evaluate current, completed and future work to identify potential workload balancing challenges
• Conduct regularly scheduled work in progress meetings (WIP) in order to keep staff informed of current problems and changes
• Ability to manage multiple projects, work under deadlines, pressures and consistently deliver
• Provide direction and professional leadership to assigned staff to promote high performance and quality deliverables
• Establish and communicate production schedule for all stages of deliverables and both monitor and direct his/her team’s compliance with schedules
• Use independent judgment to problem solve on production relate issues and workflow modifications to ensure efficient and flawless production
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a marketing communication or design related field
Desired
• Recognised certificate level programs in digital marketing, contemporary marketing tools/platforms or software programs/applications
• Recognised certification in one of the formal project management methodologies
EXPERIENCE
Essential
• 5+ years agency experience
• 3+ years digital experience
• Experience in B2B and corporate marketing (as opposed to consumer brand marketing only)
• Excellent oral and written skills, well organised, diligent and team player.
• Excellent grasp of web technologies, and using digital channels
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise several tasks at a time. Experienced with project planning methodologies and strong grasp of scheduling work and resources
• Excellent people management skills – experience managing a small team – growing a small team - proven success in providing leadership, training, development and day to day instruction to staff.
• Proven ability to demonstrate independent judgment to make decisions related to operations and workflow efficiency
• Experience setting and managing production budget (time and costs)
• Considerable experience of managing all aspects of large, complex digital projects, including creative design, technical infrastructure, information architecture, content and marketing
• Considerable experience using project planning processes
• Experience of sourcing, briefing and overseeing freelancers and contractors
• Experience of working with various content management systems
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Macintosh programs such as Adobe Creative Suite, In Design, Photo Shop, Illustrator
• Understand CRM and other business management platforms in a corporate environment
• Understand CMS in a corporate environment
• Understand social media tools in a corporate environment
