The Opportunity: 

The System Administrator will report to the Technical Architect in the delivering the successful infrastructure commitments for two main product brands this global company delivers to the market. The System Administrator will also be responsible for managing the internal operations technology supporting the everyday productivity of the organisation.

This role is best suited to someone with some experience looking to upscale their understanding of multiple technology platforms, their use, and their inter-connected behaviours, have the confidence to submit recommendations on how to resolve them, and work individually, or within a team of people in seeing these recommendations become a reality.

 Responsibilities Include:
·         Work with 2 Product Managers in the delivery of the Product Infrastructure.
o    Updates
o    Backups
o    Recoveries
o    SLA Reporting
o    Billing
o    Reporting
·         Work with the Technical Architect in discussing the best approach to deliver the most cost-effective solution and maintenance procedures required.
·         Monitor Technology SLA’s.
·         Assist in the deployment of improved operations technologies.
·         Maintain company technology assets.

Experience and skills required: 
Skills:
·         Data Modelling.
·         Microsoft Windows Server Experience (required).
·         Microsoft Network Experience.
·         Microsoft Exchange Server Experience (required).
·         Microsoft Sharepoint Services Experience.
·         Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience preferred (EC2, EBS, S3).
·         An understanding of virtualisation and associated technologies (VMWare, ESXi, Hyper-V).
·         SQL, SQL Server 2005, 2008 (required).
·         .NET Framework experience (required).
·         A good understanding of XML.
·         An understanding of .NET frameworks.
·         A solid understanding of SaaS operations & Cloud Concepts.
·         Knowledge of Security Systems, Firewalls & Protocols.
·         Source Control & Versioning.
·         Delivering to pre-defined Service Level Agreements.
·         Salesforce & Harvest experience (nice to have)
·         OS imaging
·         Lightweight coding or scripting experience. Not afraid to script to help meet data reporting requirements.
·         Some Linux experience.
